Hello Polk Families!
The last two weeks were busy ones at Polk! Students were thrilled to learn the winners from our Scarecrow Decorating Contest. Our students were treated to a Fire Prevention Assembly with Fire Marsal Kim Calabrese and several local firefighters (check out the pictures on Twitter). 4th and 5th graders are encouraged to participate in the Fire Prevention Poster contest (information was sent home Wednesday). We also held our 3rd schoolwide PAWS assembly to honor Inner Champions who were recognized for following the PAWS expectations. Check out more about what’s going on by reading the Peek at Polk here.
