Hi Polk Families! Tomorrow at 10 we kick off the Teacher Car Parade! See route below. While we tried hard to get to every neighborhood because we love and miss you all and genuinely want to see you, it was just not possible. We did the best we could and hope everyone will be able to see us at some point in our travels. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE practice safe social distancing if you're coming outside. Be mindful of staying 6 feet apart from anyone else who has come outside and do not join groups at bus stops! The staff at Polk school is excited to see you tomorrow! 😀

Good evening, Polk Families.
We are busy preparing for the launch of distance learning on March 30th. Please check your email or the Polk website for important information from Dr. Harrison.
If you did not receive an email, we may not have updated contact information for you. Please feel free to email me at galikje@watertownps.org with a parent/guardian email that can be checked regularly.
Thanks! Be well!
Jen Galik

Don’t forget! We’re open 10-1 today for essential items! There’s a table set up outside for “drive through” books if you need some materials for your kids.

Good evening, Polk Families.
I hope this message finds you all well and staying healthy!
Just a reminder that our building will be open tomorrow, Monday, March 16th. Staff will be permitted to enter the school from 8:00-10:00 am, and students may pick up essential items from 10:00-1:00 pm. If you need to collect any medication from the nurse, please come to the main office and we will get it for you. All students must be accompanied by an adult.
Our supplemental learning materials may be accessed on the district website-https://www.watertownps.org/o/watertown-public-schools/page/covid-19-supplemental-learning. If you’re in need of a Chromebook, they will be available for pick up on Wednesday at WHS. Please be sure to complete the survey on the district website to indicate you’re in need of one.
For any family in need of books, we will have a table set up in the drop off loop tomorrow and you’re welcome to come by to collect some to enjoy at home while we’re closed. We will also continue to post resources on Twitter (@PolkESPrincipal).
Please remember, if you or your child is experiencing flu-like symptoms, please do not come to school on Monday.
Thanks and be well! We miss you all!
Jennifer Galik
