Dear Watertown Public Schools Faculty and Families,

I am happy to report that we have been experiencing a decline in the number of positive Covid cases in all of our schools.

In addition, I would like to officially welcome two new members to the Central Office team:

  • Mr. Luigi Velardi, our new Director of Facilities and Security
  • Mr. Michael Dalton, our new Powerschool and Instructional Technology Specialist

We are so excited to have them join our district. Their expertise and leadership have already started to benefit the Watertown Public Schools these past few days!

As we move into the weekend, the weather forecast is calling for quite a bit of snow. All activities on Saturday and Sunday are cancelled or will be rescheduled. I wish you all a safe and enjoyable weekend filled with snow angels and snow forts.

Lastly, a big shout out to our snow crews who will be working around the clock this weekend. Thank you for all you do!

See you all on Monday,

Dr. V
