Congratulations to Lilly Khouri and Ryann Walsh who All State and Academic All State honors for Cross Country!
This year, for Veterans Day, WHS Interact club helped raise money, and create a "Field of Flags" for the Disabled American Veterans (DAV). The flags were displayed the week leading up to Veterans Day. Interact officers also participated in the Veterans Day celebration on Monday, November 11th, at the town ceremony, honoring those who served.

Watertown Unified Sports participated in a CIAC sponsored flag football tournament hosted by Derby High School. We had a great time playing games against Derby and Oxford Unified teams and look forward to our next event. Thanks Derby!

Congratulations to Riley McDonnell, who took 3rd place and Gabby Esposito, for a fourth place finish at the NVL diving championships held at Woodland Regional High School on Wednesday night. Way to go girls! Your hard work all season certainly paid off! We are proud of you!
National Honor Society hosted Safe Halloween for the Watertown community tonight. Members decorated their cars, handed out candy, and collected for the Watertown Food Bank 🎃🦇👻

Some of our yearbook students spent the day at Josten's workshop learning the software and techniques to put a yearbook together! We cant wait to show you our 2025 yearbook!
On Friday, May 17th, the Tri-M Music Honor Society held Talent Under the Stars outside by the WHS flagpole. Watertown High School musicians performed solos or in small groups. Student leaders ran all aspects of this event, from holding auditions, creating the performance order and script, to running sound checks and the lighting and sound during the show. There was a large audience, who were there to support the student musicians.
On Saturday, May 18th, fourteen WHS music students participated in the WCSU Honors Music Festival. The students spent Saturday rehearsing with other music students from across the state and performed in an afternoon concert for families at WCSU. The students that participated are:

WHS grade 12, Mia Colamonico (Art Award) and Chloe Desmarais (Music Award), received the 2024 CAS/CIAC Outstanding Arts Award. CAS annually honors two outstanding seniors from each of the member schools in the state who excel in the performing or visual arts. Excelling in the performing or visual arts is of primary importance in the selection. Scholarship and Leadership are also supporting criteria
Aryana Nascimento made it her senior capstone project to collect new or gently used prom dresses for students to wear to prom. She collected 300 free prom dresses to give away to Watertown High School classmates and other students that wanted to attend.

Whs Interact students honor veterans at Veterans Memorial Park.
They also created a Field of Flags: collecting money for veterans in need and placed over 200 flags on the town green.
