Dear Watertown Public Schools Families and Faculty,
Approaching the mid-way point of the month is a great time to fall into a groove. The start of this year allowed us to welcome back all of our students and families in person and now we’re starting to stretch our legs and get into a rhythm!
Thank you to all of our faculty and staff for getting this year off and running - your dedication to the students and families of the Watertown community shows everyday.

Happenings From Around the District
A Message from our Technology Team
Each year, the district must verify student information and parent permissions in Powerschool to keep all student information current and accurate. All parents are asked to review and electronically sign off on the ‘21-22 Returning Student’ information required for this year by October 1, 2021. This includes New AND Returning students.
Step 1: Log on to Powerschool Parent Portal
Step 2: Click on ‘21-22 Returning Students’ icon on the left toolbar
Step 3: Review your child’s information on each page and complete all electronic
school agreements by clicking the appropriate boxes.
Step 4: Complete this by October 1, 2021
Letters regarding ‘21-22 Returning Student’ information were sent via email this past week. You may reach out to Jeff Turner at turnerje@watertownp.org or your school secretary if you need assistance.

Yom Kippur
Yesterday, the holiest day of the year for the Jewish community was Yom Kippur. With a focus on messages of optimism, hope and acceptance, this special day is observed with fasting, meaningful self-reflection for the Jewish people, including prayer and the study of the Torah. We are thinking of our students, families, and faculty who celebrated Yom Kippur ... “On Rosh Hashanah it is written… On Yom Kippur it is sealed. May it be written and may it be sealed that you have a new year that brings fulfillment and happiness, peace and prosperity – all of life’s very best things. Have a Happy, Healthy New Year!”
