The Watertown Board of Education is pleased to announce that Karina Deros will serve as the 2022-2023 student council representative to the Board of Education. Karina is a grade 12 student at Watertown High School who is involved in a wide variety of activities. Karina maintains a course load of honors and Advanced Placement classes and she achieves excellent grades in those subjects. Among her many co-curricular activities are: serving as a class officer; as a member of the National, World Language, and Math Honor Societies, Principal’s Advisory Panel, Link Crew, and Interact Club; and as a three-season athlete in cross country, swimming, and track. Karina also volunteers at the Watertown Convalarium and has been employed as a summer lifeguard at Black Rock and Burr Pond State Parks. Karina is looking forward to continuing her studies as a future physician assistant.
