Dear Watertown Public Schools Faculty, Students and Families,
Our district was quickly back on track as we welcomed our students after this morning’s delay. Thank you to everyone for making the transition back to a regular day as smooth as possible.
The Importance of Literacy
During the summer months, educators encourage students to continue to engage in learning. Whether students are enrolled in summer enrichment opportunities, traveling, or taking part in summer camps, exercising our brains and cognitive muscles is super important. This summer, at the secondary level we had many students who were not required to, but showed their love of reading by diving into the WHS summer reading challenge. Final Words for Today….
There has been great energy all week seeing families return to our school buildings for a series of events. The mild weather has been a benefit for all of this week. Please see below for some pictures from our Back to School Bashes and Open House events.
Have a great weekend everyone,
Dr. V
