Dear Watertown Public Schools Faculty, Families, and Students,
FY 25 Budget Public Hearing Update: Thank YOU WPS
Last night, the Watertown Town Council held a Public Hearing regarding the FY 25 Budget as presented by all Town Departments and the Board of Education. On behalf of myself and the Board of Education, I would like to thank all of our PTO members and active community members who rallied families to attend the meeting yesterday. Likewise, thank you to all members of the community who submitted written testimony prior to the hearing. Your voices are an important part of making our schools the places we want them to be.
The Town Council will meet again on Monday, April 15 at 7PM in the Town Hall Chambers to determine the budget amount they decide to move forward to referendum in May. Another update will be provided after that meeting.
April Break
Next week, the Watertown Public Schools will be closed for Spring Break. Central Office will be open on adjusted hours next week from 7AM-2PM. We wish all of our families a relaxing, rejuvenating, and wonderful break as we get ready for the final stretch of the school year.
Pictures below! Enjoy.
