Dear Watertown Families and Students,
It’s the last day of school!
The excitement and energy on the last day of school is always off the charts. The last day of school marks the culmination of months of effort, dedication, and perseverance. It is also a time to celebrate the accomplishments and achievements of the past ten months with pride. With field days, classroom clean up, step up and graduation ceremonies peppered through the last week of school, sometimes time can get away from us.
It is an understatement to say this year has been an exceptional year for all of us. With the number of adjustments and changes, shifts and maneuvers, the community of Watertown stepped up to show the resilience and genuine care you all have for our district, one another, and most importantly our students.
I would like to thank the entire Watertown Public Schools faculty, staff, students, and parents for the continued collaboration and support in making this year a memorable one, not because of the pandemic, but because we were united in conquering anything that stood in our way.
I wish all of you the most wonderful and relaxing summer. May it be filled with days where you can sleep in, weekends that melt into the start of the week, and time with family and friends. These next couple of months are here to provide time to refresh, rejuvenate, and reenergize!
