Dear Watertown Public Schools Families and Faculty,

I would like to thank all of our families and students for a joyful and smooth return to school - we are so happy to have you back in person. Our administrators, faculty, and staff continue to organize upcoming events and all the details. Keep an eye out for communications regarding open houses.

Free Breakfast and Lunch for 2021-2022 

 All students enrolled in Watertown Public Schools will receive breakfast and lunch free of charge this academic year as Watertown Public Schools is part of the National School Lunch Program/SSO. 

 However, we still ask all families who are eligible for the Free and Reduced Lunch program to complete the following form and submit asap

  • Students who are eligible for free and reduced lunch also have other benefits like the Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT), discounted technology, WiFi programs, and more. Click here to fill out the form now! 

  • Eligible families who fill out this form also help the Watertown Public Schools district receive the proper funding for additional programs.

Information for Families on the Advance Child Tax Credit

The Internal Revenue Service's IRS Advance Child Tax Credit payments are now in effect. Advance Child Tax Credit payments, up to $250 per month per qualifying child ages 6 – 17 and up to $300 per month per qualifying child under age 6, started in July and will go through December 2021. Most taxpayers will receive these payments automatically. However qualifying families who did not file a 2019 or 2020 tax return must either file those returns or use the IRS non-filer sign up tool to receive Advance Child Tax Credit payments.
