On Wednesday, May 18, 2022, Dr. Villanueva along with other local leaders in Education presented on a panel for the Waterbury Regional Chamber’s Leadership Greater Waterbury (LGW) program. The panel shared how each leader's organization makes an impact on the students they service and the community where they live

The Waterbury LGW is a personal and career development program which develops community awareness among future leaders in civic, professional and community organizations in the Greater Waterbury area. Its goal is to provide a creative, interactive environment for the participants to meet regional leaders and discuss the challenges that affect Greater Waterbury.  The LGW participants comprise a unique cross-section of employees from businesses and organizations that are members of Waterbury Regional Chamber.
